Job Description
Citco seeks a dynamic IT Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives for Citco Bank. This role is pivotal in supporting the Bank's expansion and operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead key projects that facilitate business growth and enhance technological capabilities. Based in Cork, this position offers a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week required on-site. Responsibilities
As an IT Project Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery within schedule, scope, and budget constraints;
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management artifacts adhering to Citco IT governance and Bank IT standards, including project plans, status reports, JIRA/Confluence/SharePoint documentation, and risk/issue logs;
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication at all levels, from senior project stakeholders to team members;
- Organize and document regular team meetings to track task progress and project advancement;
- Provide periodic status updates to key stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting project status, risks, and issues;
- Coordinate with external vendors to establish effective structures for optimal project delivery;
- Partner with managers across infrastructure, development, QA, and program management to prioritize activities, mitigate risks, and efficiently allocate resources;
- Foster a collaborative, productive, and engaged team environment in conjunction with Bank IT teams and project stakeholders;
- Drive accountability towards critical milestones and deadlines while anticipating and addressing potential impediments to team delivery;
- Implement and oversee metrics tracking and perform other administrative duties to support team performance.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and implementation projects, preferably within a financial institution environment;
- Proven track record of managing complex projects for at least 5 years. Agile qualifications are advantageous;
- Strong proficiency in JIRA and other project management tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Teams;
- Demonstrated expertise in key competencies including project management, information technology, creativity, business analysis, data analytics, problem-solving, change/release management, multi-tasking, and service management;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong oral and written English abilities;
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field;
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities and coordinate projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
