What is the role?

As a Software Developer with a strong background in Java, cloud technologies (preferably AWS), and database management you will join our innovative SpaceOps Platform team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge platform that supports the satellite operations and mission management.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Java and Spring
Implement cloud-based solutions with AWS to ensure our software applications' scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data is securely stored, easily accessible, and performs well
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, actively researching and recommending tools and practices that improve our development processes

What do we look for?

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a Software Developer, focusing on the back-end development with Java
Strong knowledge of Spring and related frameworks
Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS
Knowledge in database management
Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS) and knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools is a plus
