About the Role:

In this position, you will take on strategic and operational leadership of our DevOps teams, which are distributed across multiple locations and closely collaborate with nearshoring partners. Your responsibilities cover approximately 40 FTEs and include the technical, personnel, and financial management of the function.

You will drive agile transformation, further develop our technical vision, and continuously optimize our processes to enhance product development and delivery in a sustainable way.

Your Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the Software Development Lifecycle – from planning to operations;
Strategic leadership and development of DevOps teams, including capacity planning and resource management;
Ensuring the technical and functional roadmap aligns with the strategic direction of the platform;
Budget ownership for the function and ensuring optimal resource allocation;
Close collaboration with product development to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions;
Driving DevOps culture and continuous improvements in CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native architectures;
Establishing a learning organization that actively evolves knowledge, innovation, and best practices;
Ensuring code quality, security, and automation across all development and operational processes;
Promoting an agile, product-driven work environment using Scrum and modern methodologies.

Personal Skills:

Degree in Computer Science (FH/UNI/ETH) or an equivalent qualification;
Strong knowledge of modern Fintech solutions and market trends – industry experience is an advantage;
Proven experience in leading DevOps projects and successfully driving organizational transformations;
Ability to operate on both strategic and operational levels;
Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization;
High quality standards and strong problem-solving skills;
Strong leadership qualities – you lead by example and are not afraid to be hands-on;
High resilience and perseverance in complex transformation projects;
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
