Reporting into the Global Software Director, the new Software Engineering Manager will drive technical direction, manage projects, and ensures high-quality software delivery, as well as oversee and mentors a development team.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

Technical leadership of a software engineering team;
Interface to customers and 3rd party suppliers;
Responsible for assessments of software projects and mapping to Flex software capabilities;
Responsible for driving projects together with the team dealing with Power Electronics and Compute ECUs;
Act as project owner and demonstrate a complete understanding of software projects;
Responsible for providing detailed technical specification and accurate project level estimates for engineering effort.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

Degree in electrical engineering or computer science with electronics background;
Minimum 5 years' experience in Automotive or related industries in complex software engineering projects;
Experience in in software development for vehicle bus communication and high speed interfaces;
Experience with EE architecture and various SW configuration - Autosar experience is beneficial;
Knowledge of automotive functional safety requirements (ISO26262), Cyber Security and Automotive Spice;
Fluent in English, extensive experience in both written and spoken; German is beneficial.
