Kuehne + Nagel has implemented a corporate “Document Input Solution” to help business and functional units extend their current automation level in document data capturing, processing and archiving. As “Document Input Solution - Senior Software Engineer” you will be responsible for developing and implementing applications in C# or Java. You will have to design, code and support/maintain the solution delivered.

Your Responsibilities

Developing new features for globally used enterprise IT solutions;
Delivering solutions end-to-end, from solution design to implementing front- and back-end, to deployment;
Be part of a global team and collaborate with multiple locations (Europe, America, Asia);
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes following agile principles;
Create documentation necessary to implement and maintain the delivered solution;
Harmonize existing document archiving process services;
Implement different data capturing processes for a high-volume of documents;
Develop interfaces for integration between global IT systems;
Identify, troubleshoot, and analyze technical problems;
Work on improving continuous integration/deployment.

Your Skills and Experiences

3+ years’ professional experience in software engineering related job, familiar with at least one programming language (C#, Java);
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree on Computer Science or IT related major;
Proven OOP techniques and frameworks usage (.NET, Java, Spring, Hibernate);
Hands on experience in cloud-native development (e.g. Kubernetes, public cloud);
A deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures;
Experience with source/version control tools and platforms (e.g. git, TFS) together with CI/CD usage and experience (Jenkins, Gitlab);
Experience in working in an agile team and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence);
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English;
Knowledge of OCR/Data Capturing technologies is a plus;
Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving competencies
