ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is a financial company in the USA, providing services for institutional investors. This organization offers a cloud-based platform for multi-asset class portfolio management, reporting, and analytics.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role;
Strong proficiency in Apache Airflow for orchestrating and scheduling data workflows;
Advanced SQL skills, including experience with complex queries and performance tuning;
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and optimization;
Proficiency in Python and/or C# with experience in data manipulation libraries;
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git);
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI);
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools;
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow;
Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes;
Implement and optimize data models in Snowflake;
Develop Python scripts and C# utilities for data processing, analysis, and automation;
Collaborate with data analysts to ensure data availability and quality;
Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems;
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance;
Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.
