Scrum Master - Commercial Analytics

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to lead our data & analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of data and analytics. You will play a key role in guiding our team to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate daily Scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings;
Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile/Scrum practices and principles;
Assist the product owner with backlog management and ensure the team understands the product vision and objectives;
Remove impediments and blockers that may hinder the team's progress;
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment;
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and solutions;
Ensure the team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility;
Track and report on key agile metrics to monitor team performance and process improvement;
Continuously seek ways to improve team productivity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus;
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile experience;
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a data and analytics environment;
Proven experience with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar;
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

IT Qualifications

Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices;
Strong understanding of data and analytics concepts, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data visualization, and machine learning;
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
Experience with data visualization tools like QlikSense, Power BI, or similar.
