POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Linux Backend Developer to join the Plesk Core team.

Salary Range of total package up to EUR 3300 gross.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new and maintain existing functionality written in Python and Bash programming languages (integrations with Linux subsystems)
• Automate the build and deploy phases (prepare RPM/deb packages and Cloud images for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Fix bugs and assist the Support department
• Develop new auxiliary services and maintain existing ones

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in software development for Linux using Python and Bash
• Linux systems administration experience and knowledge of development toolchain
• Teamwork experience (Git, code reviews, issue tracker)
• Basic understanding of networks and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, IMAP/POP3, DNS
• Basic understanding of Linux principles and internals
• English level: intermediate or higher

Good to know/to have (optional):

• Hosting-related Linux administration experience: Apache, nginx, MySQL, Postfix, Dovecot, Docker
• Knowledge of C and C++
• Practical experience with RDBMS: MySQL, SQLite
• Practical experience with PHP, Go, SQL
