Senior Cloud Engineer - Space & Defense

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Cloud Engineer, eager to dive in fascinating world of high-end telecommunication technologies. End-to-end perspective, variety of tasks, lightweight processes and direct contact with customers makes these projects challenging and attractive.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Build an end-to-end, cloud-based network using production software (deployment and integration of different sw elements on cloud)
Design, develop and maintain a cloud platform to support software components
Develop full automation processes for deployment, integration, and testing of Platform
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Explore and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Contribute to short/mid-term decisions in own area.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

Understanding of container technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes and cloud native architecture principles.
Able to work with cloud and microservices platform and/or with IT servers
Experience in Devops or Verification including scripting, simulators, test automation
Experience in scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation and configuration tasks
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, and firewall configurations
Familiarity with Linux administration, including command line usage, file systems, and user management
Teamwork skills
Analytical thinking
Very good communication skills in English - both verbal and written
Readiness to work in a hybrid mode (Nokia Kraków office)
Knowledge of telecommunication systems 4G/5G and 3GPP standard
