You will be embedded in a multi-functional team, closely collaborating with scientists, engineers and product managers. Our quickly expanding, international team has embraced the innovative mindset from day one. We are looking to expand our ML team and seeking candidates for a hybrid role based in Estonia.

Our Stack

• Python;
• GCP with plans to move to AWS;
• Google AI Platform, Apache Beam, Apache Flink and Airflow;
• Pandas, spaCy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.;
• LLMs - OpenAI, PaLM2, Llama;
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Google Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, REST, microservices;
• Google Looker Studio/Grafana, Datadog;
• Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Github Actions.

Responsibilities

• High level of independence and trust, you decide how the implementation is done;
• Keeping track of your own tasks and nudge others whenever something looks stuck;
• Building and evaluating tooling for data processing and other machine learning needs;
• Working together with the data scientists to implement research models and LLM prompting in production and developing solutions for preprocessing of structured and unstructured data in data pipelines;
• Developing scalable methodologies for running and monitoring machine-learning models in production;
• Integrating LLMs into the data pipeline.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in software development or data engineering and interest in machine learning;
• Proven track record as a solid software engineer with a focus on Python-based software development;
• Strong understanding of SQL and database technologies;
• Comfortable working independently, in English and in a remote setting;
• It's a huge plus if you have experience with cloud-native technologies like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka;
• It's a huge plus if you have experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Service.
