About the role:

This position involves designing and building scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring the data is accessible and usable for driving business insights and decisions.

What you’ll do:

Design, construct, and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
Develop and maintain scalable and reliable data architecture to support business requirements.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data in a ready-to-use form for analysis and insights generation.
Implement best practices for data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.

This role is perfect for you if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, with significant exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
Proficient in programming languages relevant to data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
Proven experience with Airflow and Spark.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
Strong knowledge with some of the Cloud providers - Azure, GCP, AWSStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

Key success factors:

Experience in configuring cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Run, Dataplex, Cloud Storage).
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or similar.
Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
