Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Senior Developer, you will be part of a growing team composed by our Cloud Data Architects, Engineers and Analysts working on Azure Cloud Environment. You will be involved in all stages of development, from solution design to development and deployment, testing, and maintenance.

As an Azure Cloud Senior Developer you will:

Work collaboratively with Cloud/DevOps developers, platform delivery lead, solution architects, enterprise architects to define and develop secure, highly scalable enterprise cloud products
Write clean, high-performance, well-tested infrastructure code with a focus on reusability and automation (i.e. Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.)
Explore and recommend new technologies/services for implementing application patterns. Articulate the advantages of various solution options.
Conduct and oversee design & code reviews
Define platform software engineering standards and ensure compliance
Provide recommendations on architectural changes in order to improve efficiency, reliability and performance and to reduce cost
Actively participate and contribute on all sprint ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint retro, sprint demo and backlog grooming)
Collaborate with Cloud/DevOps engineers to solve technical and design problems

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant disciplines, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in ICT sector
At least 5 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer, with minimum 1 year of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, as well as with Cloud architecture, multi-tier distributed systems, APIs, big data and microservices
Significant exposure to with DevOps concepts, technologies and tools (CI/CD - Github, Github Action, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc.) and emerging technologies
Working experience in UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Kendo UI, DevExpress, etc.) and .NET, Java, Python or other programming languages on Azure
Experience in SQL Server development
Working experience in cloud migration from on-prem and security best practices (e.g. OWASP).
Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, Biceps).
Solid knowledge of SDLC and agile techniques
Certification in Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure Certified Developer, Architect, Administrator, DevOps, etc.)
Excellent written and oral skills in English. Solid communication skills.
