Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS and React)

The role

You will work exclusively for the one client from Switzerland on the long term period (3+ years) in distributed setup in logistics/e-commerce industry building modern digital platform for cross-border shipments.

How you'll make impact

Ensuring that good engineering practices are applied in daily work
As a part of a Scrum team, you will further develop modern web applications, the cloud architecture and CI/CD pipeline and diverse API landscape, creating high-quality solutions while adapting to customer requirements
You pay attention to clean code, a clean structure, good performance, and sensible test coverage
Directly communicating with customers and guiding them and the team towards success

What is important to us

At least 3 years of experience in software development with Javascript/Typescript
You have a technical-related degree and/or equivalent professional qualification
You are fluent in English (both written and oral)
You are communicative and open-minded
Strong experience with the backend framework NodeJS and frontend framework React
Working experience with Azure Cloud platforms
Working experience with relational databases (experience with PostgreSQL)
Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and unit tests – e.g Vitest/Jest
Strong experience in a distributed, agile team setup, with a good understanding of the Scrum concepts, practical experience
Ability to apply and follow architectural and design patterns
Experience in backend framework NestJS is a strong plus
Experience in requirements engineering would be a plus
Experience in logistics/e-commerce industry would be a plus
