Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers to develop, enhance, and maintain software for flight simulation systems;
  • Develop and implement efficient software processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and aerospace safety standards;
  • Oversee project timelines, delivery schedules, and quality control, ensuring successful delivery of all software components and services;
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, QA, and project management, to drive product development;
  • Monitor and improve software performance, reliability, and scalability to meet the rigorous demands of flight simulation environments;
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture;
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and relevant regulatory standards, , ensuring the integrity and robustness of flight simulation software;
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and aligning software solutions with business needs.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or in a leadership role within the aerospace, aviation, or simulation industries;
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Expertise in mission-critical software development, with a focus on aerospace standards;
  • Experience in C/C++ and other relevant programming languages;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale software projects from concept through to delivery;
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Knowledge of flight simulation technology or avionics software is highly desirable.
