Design, develop, and optimize API services with a keen focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Maintain payment, billing, invoicing, catalog, and other associated services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, understanding requirements and ensuring that the backend solutions integrate seamlessly with other components.
Uphold a high standard of code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
Diagnose and resolve backend issues, aiming for minimal downtime and optimum performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development.
Provide insights and feedback to the Expert Engineer and other stakeholders, ensuring the technical feasibility and timeline of backend solutions.

A minimum of 4 years experience building web applications and have spent the past 3 years into a backend focus role.
Proficiency in Kotlin. Experience working with modern frontend technologies or willing to become a full-stack developer.
Familiarity with frontend technologies, specifically JavaScript, React or TypeScript.
You have been working in different parts of the stack and understand how to improve the architecture of a service.
Proven experience in building and running production systems using CI/CD and solving issues that pop up using monitoring tools.
You are dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality, using a strong toolkit to ensure that everything is thoroughly tested and fully functional before it reaches release.
You place a strong emphasis on understanding domain knowledge and stakeholder priorities, incorporating them into your development process while proposing creative and effective solutions.
You thrive in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and team growth.
