(Senior) Cybersecurity Engineer, Incident Response

What you'll do:
Work on tools, systems and methods that support security incident-response procedures for Electrolux Digital Experience . This may include logging, monitoring, anomaly detection, incident mitigation and/or threat-intelligence systems, security-testing, security infrastructure management and others, to support Electrolux long-term cybersecurity and privacy strategy for Digital Products.
In detail, you will:
- Engineer, maintain and drive adoption of systems, tools and best practices (e.g. logging, monitoring, IDS/IPS, anomaly detection) for security incident-response procedure within the Digital Experience organization;
- Lead and contribute to detection, investigation and resolution of security incidents affecting Electrolux Digital Products;
- Systematically monitor and analyze security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to Electrolux connected products and services; identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities in DX products and coordinate remediation efforts with other Digital Product teams;
- Propose cybersecurity improvements to Electrolux Digital Products, working together with the Digital Product teams and Senior Architects;
- Continuously improve and test processes and procedures for security incident handling;
- Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders (Digital Product teams, Group CISO, Data Protection Office) regarding security incidents, data breaches, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
Who you are:
- You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IoT systems and modern network protocols, operating systems, and application security;
- You have proficiency in security incident detection and prevention tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, threat intelligence);
- You possess experience and expertise in some of: Linux/RTOS system security, cloud/mobile security, TCP/IP security, authentication/authorization methods, secure programming;
- Experience with Agile development methods and tools such as Atlassian SaaS and/or previous experience from a SOC/CSIRT team is an advantage;
- Orientation in the regulatory framework (GDPR, EU Data Act, OWASP, NIST, NIS2, …) is a plus;
- You have 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity aspects of digital product development and a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, or comparable experience. Master’s Degree and/or cybersecurity certification (e.g. CEH), is a plus. Applicants at various levels of seniority may apply.
