Software Developer for Space Comms

What is the role?

We are currently looking for a skilled engineer to join our Space Comms team. This team has a blend of software engineering expertise, DSP knowledge, and an understanding of the unique challenges posed by the space environment. This position is essential for designing and developing the company communication middleware and its innovative solutions for digital signal processing (DSP). Your expertise is needed to enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of our space communication software, driving the success of our space missions.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

Implement and maintain communication protocols tailored for space communication.
Design and implement DSP algorithms for modulation, demodulation, filtering, and error correction to process the signals received from and sent to the satellite.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems with satellite platforms
Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards

What do we look for?

Proven experience in software development, preferably in satellite communications
Strong knowledge of C++, GO and Python programming languages
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools
