When joining Tietoevry Education as a DevOps engineer:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our DevOps team, assisting in ensuring our SaaS solution operates seamlessly and efficiently. Your duties will include system monitoring, troubleshooting and assisting in implementing automation wherever possible. The ideal candidate has a strong background in running operations in a cloud environment, managing SQL Server clusters and databases, networking and security. The candidate should also have experience with CI/CD-pipelines/GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure or have a strong interest in learning these technologies. Since you also will be working with automation, experience with scripting and programming languages is a plus.

Qualifications:

We are looking to strengthen our team with two people that have a strong passion for technology and strive to continuously learn new things. We are looking for both a junior profile, and a more senior profile. The ideal candidate will also have some of the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field;
Experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role in software operations;
Understanding of databases and SQL;
Windows and Linux Server experience;
Security-oriented mindset and interest in various security aspects;
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash and C#;
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts and Azure;
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Preferably also fluent in Swedish.
