The Role

As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in bridging the product management and development teams, while maintaining alignment with other teams in a complex and innovative program within the fire detection industry.

How You'll Make Impact

Collaboration in the development team in a geographically distributed setting: Works closely with the software development team as product owner and applies the team-level SAFe framework to support agile working methods.
Feature Refinement: Collaboration with product managers, other product owners and the development team to refine SAFe program-level features and prepare them for development.
Team Backlog Management: Responsible for the refinement of the team backlog, including prioritization of user stories and bugs.
Coordination with other teams: Coordinates regularly with other development teams, Firmware, Hardware, testing, production, sensor technology, to clarify dependencies and address potential problems at an early stage. Find the optimal balance between program and team objectives.
PI Planning: Prioritize features with the product managers.

What's Important to us

Professional experience in the role of developer or product owner
Experience in software engineering is a plus
Experience in UX is a plus
Knowledge of Confluence and Jira tools (nice to have)
Experience in requirements engineering and agile methods is required.
Knowledge in SAFe agile methodology (nice to have)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and customers is vital. This includes the ability to articulate the product vision, requirements, and feedback
Ability to work effectively in an agile environment
Team player, able to deal with diverging requirements and expectations and to mediate between the different positions of the various stakeholders
Bachelor's in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
