DevOps Engineering Lead

Main responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineering Lead within the Omnichannel Marketing organization, you will have a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Sanofi’s global web platform. You’ll lead a team of engineers, focusing on optimizing their delivery flow and ensuring the team remains high-performing in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Oversee the technology stack and ensure it meets current standards, including quality, process ownership, and platform security;
Manage and mentor a team of 3 software engineers in Barcelona, guiding them in their career development and growth, ensuring they have clear paths for progression and skill enhancement;
Ensure delivery processes are optimized, dependencies with other teams and stakeholders are streamlined, and CI/CD pipelines executed on GitHub Actions are continuously improved;
Take charge of infrastructure cost optimization and platform reliability managing dozens of websites globally, with a focus on cloud solutions (AWS, Azure), our self-hosted Content Management System, and SaaS solutions, ensuring efficient, frequent, and secure deployments and releases.

Experience:

Solid experience in digital and key role in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering in the Cloud (preferably AWS);
Proven experience leading and collaborating within a cross-functional team (software, product, designer, …);
Strong technical expertise in CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, …), and cloud-native operations;
At ease with web ecosystems and the challenges of managing dozens of sites;
A data-driven and problem-solving mindset to solve complex challenges.
