Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our back-end and front-end web applications.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions, as well as reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics.

A key aspect of this role involves conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective. Our ideal candidate will possess a background in both software development and quality assurance, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases;
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback;
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities;
Design, develop and execute automation scripts;
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs;
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved;
Work with the US-based Quality Lead to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs;
Coordinate with stakeholders and identify system requirements;
Monitor debugging process results;
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions;
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts;
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Skills:

Proven work experience in software quality assurance;
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing;
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools;
Knowledge and experience with SQL and scripting;
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
Experience with performance and/or security testing;
Proven work experience in software development;
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
Candidate must have experience as member of the SCRUM team on the same/similar position (QA/Test Automation);
We are expecting candidate with more than 3 years of Test Automation experiences on the level as the test programmer, not only user;
Technology stack is variable, more important is to be willing and open to learn new technologies. (AZURE, JavaScript, Python, Bash, PowerShell, GIT, Some Relational and non REL DBs);
Experience with Testing Framework PlayWright + JavaScript is an advantage;
Can be valuable to have some experience with Python (not mandatory);
Candidate must be able to work with standard collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT or SVN);
Candidate must have some experiences with some IDE (we are using MS Studio CODE).
