Do you have the potential to play a key role in designing and implementing information technology solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the EDQM and the Council of Europe’s IT department? Do you have the skills that will enable you to create a roadmap for EDQM information technology? Are you able to create technical solutions and provide guidance to development teams while ensuring that the IT architecture meets performance, security and scalability requirements?

You will perform a combination of the following tasks:

  • design and ensure the maintenance of the functional software architecture for the EDQM’s information systems and related procedures in line with architectural standards;
  • ensure that architectural principles are fully integrated into IT projects;
  • ensure the different layers of the architecture are coherent with each other, with the aim of realising the strategic vision to simplify, modernise and digitalise the EDQM’s information systems;
  • analyse interdependencies between the different transformation programmes;
  • optimise resources, performance and costs, in particular avoiding the duplication of IT technology and functionalities within the Organisation;
  • draft architecture proposals to meet the needs identified during pre-project and project phases; ensuring the coherence, performance and scalability of the information system architecture; evaluating the functional and technical impacts of change requests.
