Hardware Engineer

In this role, you will contribute to the development of our hearing aid accessory products, working primarily as a hardware engineer with a focus on designing circuits using off-the-shelf components in small battery driven and wireless devices.

To succeed in this role, you should bring experience in electronics development, ideally with close collaboration with production partners. You must be systematic, organized, and comfortable with detailed documentation tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, verify, and iteratively improve electronic circuits using off-the-shelf components.
  • Collaborate with external development partners, review their input, and verify their designs.
  • Specify production and test procedures for seamless production line integration.
  • Proactively identify potential pitfalls, risks, and delays, and develop action plans.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or a related field (B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in designing circuits with MCUs, USB interfaces, batteries, and charging systems, including schematic drawing and PCB layout design.
  • Preferably, knowledge of PCBA specification, electronics production testing, automation, industry standards, and common practices.
  • Understanding and experience in RF electronics, antennas, EMC, and signal integrity are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Collaborative approach with a readiness to both provide and receive support from peers.
  • Capable of self-directed task management and assumption of responsibilities.
  • Balance between independent work and team collaboration.
  • Eagerness to work in a multicultural environment with good spoken and written
