Job Overview:

Are you passionate about building websites with highly performant, flexible and reusable web applications and components? Our Digital Team are looking for Website Developer to join our global Marketing team to develop our priority commercial websites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact and work on some high-profile projects that align to our Chief Marketing Officer’s vision.

You will work within a hardworking, positive team responsible for delivering a series of priority Marketing projects. The role offers the opportunity to learn and apply a set of modern technologies with close support from experienced developers and digital experts, whilst having some fun.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll be involved in a variety of projects with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Development and maintenance of priority Arm marketing websites
  • Gather, distil and translate visual designs and business needs into clean, usable and understandable solutions.
  • Work closely with Arm’s IT, architecture, security, legal and privacy teams as well as 3rd party development agencies
  • Adhere to Arm dev ops standards, figuring out the features road map for Arm’s front end development framework.

Required Skills:

  • Practical experience working with any one of these web frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as Node.js, React.js, Foundation etc
  • Solid grasp of responsive web design principles, performance optimization techniques and appreciation of website standards, e.g. cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
  • Good understanding of back-end technologies and platforms, e.g. Sitecore, Wordpress, Drupal, in an Azure Environment (IAAS, PAAS)
  • Experience working with multi-functional teams (design, user experience, test, IT, security, legal, marketing & project management) across various time zones

“Nice to Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with project management tools, e.g. Jira, Asana, whilst working with agile project methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
  • Application of website search and personalization tools, e.g. Solr, Lucene, Elastic, Coveo or Azure Search, Adobe Target
  • Some experience of working with restful APIs
  • Understanding of CI/CD and version control tools such as Team City, Octopus, Jenkins
