(Senior) Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin)

Develop E.ON One's product platform using Kotlin and Spring, leveraging cloud-native technologies;
Work closely with developers, product managers, and architects to create software solutions that revolutionize the energy industry;
Design and implement scalable, maintainable backend services that integrate seamlessly with third-party services and APIs;
Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and continuously optimize application performance and security.

5+ years in software development with strong expertise in Java/Kotlin. Knowledge of Python and Go is a plus;
Proficient in developing modern backend services with the Spring framework and well-versed in API technologies (JSON, REST, HTTP, OIDC, gRPC);
Familiar with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies;
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud native services;
Knowledgeable about best practices in software security;
Passionate about the energy domain and eager to contribute to the energy transition;
Comfortable working in a start-up-like environment, taking ownership of tasks, and communicating effectively;
Fluent skills in English; German and other languages are considered a plus.
