Summary:

Join us as a Data Insights Analyst to design, develop, and maintain industrializable apps, reports, and dashboards using Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and similar tools. Your role will involve translating business requirements into technical specifications, building data models, creating impactful data visualizations, and supporting ad-hoc data and reporting needs.

In this role you will:

Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user objectives.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Connect to and prepare data sources for analysis; build data models. Calculate metrics and KPIs.
Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that effectively communicate data insights.
Test apps and reports for accuracy and performance. Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and iterate designs based on user feedback.
Deploy apps and reports to the production environment and automate report distribution when applicable.
Regularly maintain and update apps and reports to ensure they meet business needs and incorporate new data sources or insights.
Support ad-hoc data and reporting needs by clarifying specific questions or objectives, gathering relevant data, analyzing it, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Provide user support and upskilling on apps, reports, and dashboards in Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and other tools, and on general Data Literacy topics.
Support users in interpreting data, metrics, and KPIs, and turning them into actionable insights.
Contribute to the preparation and facilitation of upskilling sessions, including creating training materials, presenting during training sessions, and conducting Q&A.
Contribute to the creation of info and self-learning materials (e.g., quick cards, user guides, how-to videos).

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analyst role, preferably in a software or travel company.
Experience working with data visualization tools (ideally Qlik Sense and Power BI).
Familiarity with databases and datamodels, along with programming expertise (for example R, Python, SQL).
Advanced statistical knowledge and mathematics; build statistical algorithms; regression models.
Strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to align work with company goals and priorities.
Fluency in English, any other language will be a plus.
