As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be translating data into meaningful and actionable insights for Acronis’ global customer support team. Analysis performed will directly impact and influence strategic decision making across the support organization. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving reporting and dashboard capabilities in both Salesforce and Power BI. In this role you will be working closely with senior level support team members to define requirements, projects and tasks. To be successful as a Business Intelligence Analyst you should have a passion for data, highly analytical mind and strong English written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with globally distributed team members.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design a common reporting layout standard;
  • Communicate with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and end -users to better understand, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements;
  • Design, develop, test and implement Power BI and Salesforce dashboards and reports;
  • Work with Query Editor to connect to different data sources and work with data models;
  • Maintain and improve online reporting portal;
  • Use various sources to pull data into Power BI such as SQL Server, Salesforce and Excel. Schedule automatic refresh in Power BI service;
  • Develop custom calculated measures using DAX in Power BI to satisfy business needs;
  • Create Excel macros and VBA code to massage data in Excel as well as link spreadsheets using SQL.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent knowledge;
  • 3+ years of experience in/with:
    • Business Intelligence (Power BI desktop, Power BI desktop Pro, Power BI Service, Power BI report server), and other related IT development technologies like MS BI Stack (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), especially in relation to extracting and reporting on data from Salesforce;
    • Excel, using power query, formulas, pivot tables and graphs;
    • SQL;
    • Python or PowerShell (preferably both);
    • Salesforce, especially creating dashboards and reports.
  • Practical background in developing Power BI tabular reports, matrix reports, ad-hoc reports, drilldown, parameterized, cascading, conditional, table, matrix, and sub reports;
  • Ability to work in groups as well as individually with minimum supervision;
  • Willingness to learn new technologies as and when needed.
