You are a highly highly experienced software developer with experience in developing backend services. You are proactive, comfortable with being part of a team, and work in a structured fashion.

What You Will Focus on

You will focus on the development of services such as data distribution (of geodata in this context), surveillance and aircraft tracking data, coordination messaging, data transformation, data filtering, data despatch, publish & subscribe management, recording & replay.

What You Bring

You will bring enthusiasm for being part of an exciting new development, as well as most (or perhaps all) of the skills listed below.

Essentially:

good familiarity with technology stacks: Java, Spring, Keycloak, Apache ActiveMQ Artemis, Docker, Linux, Consul and/or Zookeeper, Git, JIRA, Confluence;
distributed systems and their cloud realisation in a Linux environment;
the development of business critical, high availability systems;
Messaging (Pub/Sub und message queues);
OAuth 2.0, REST API, Containerisation, Service Discovery;
Strong conceptual and create thinking ability;
Testing and debugging of the code with a view to meeting performance and quality targets;
Team leading skills, especially the development and transfer of knowledge.

Desirable:

Air Traffic Control knowledge.
