Telematics Technical Test Manager

We are currently seeking a Technical Test Manager for Software, who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality software and innovative embedded software solutions. Our focus is on developing Telematics middleware functions for an infotainment system in connected cars.

What awaits you?

As part of your role, you will actively participate in projects and contribute to the validation phases of the software development process. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the software meets the required quality standards.
Your role involves collaborating with development teams to ensure the creation of software that is suitable for release. This includes developing a test methodology for product software and creating, maintaining, and enhancing test tools, frameworks, and associated software.
You are responsible for developing a well-documented test strategy and defining comprehensive test plans that cover various testing scenarios such as unit, functional, integration, system, performance, stress, and regression testing.
You will also report traceability based on software and system requirements, coordinate, review, and report test execution results, and take appropriate actions based on the findings.
Additionally, you will drive test automation and integration into the CI/CD system.

What should you bring along?

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Proficiency in Python and at least one additional scripting language (Bash, Perl) and advanced knowledge of Linux systems and a ISTQB certification is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of experience with the following tools and methodologies: Yocto, Docker, CI toolchain (Zuul), Xray, BDD and experience with the ASPICE model within the last 3 years.
Experience with distributed network architecture and industry-standard communication technologies such as MQTT and HTTP.
Experience with various processor platforms and test management for embedded software development.
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and executing automated tests at the functional, integration, and system levels and strong teamwork and communication skills.
Proficient in written and verbal English and ability to influence and drive quality across teams and disciplines.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
