Established in 1956 and bringing together 41 member countries, the CEB is a multilateral development bank which finances and responds to emergency situations and actively enhances the living conditions of the most disadvantaged groups. At the heart of our Corporate Services Directorate, you will support our unique social mandate as you take our technology, based around Temenos Globus T24 and Enterprise Service Bus, to the next level.
Providing inspiring leadership to our finance and risk management application experts, you will ensure that our systems are resilient and fit for purpose and fully meet evolving business requirements. Highly experienced in developing and supporting finance and risk management systems, preferably within banking environments, you will bring an impressive track record of managing teams and IT projects. This will have given you deep understanding of treasury and banking transaction processing and risk management, ideally backed by working knowledge of the Temenos Globus T24 and Moody’s risk management systems.
Taking responsibility for our technical and functional IT architecture, data governance and business intelligence, you will ensure the correct design of IT systems and data flows. At the same time, you will guide our IT teams in implementing new systems and interfaces, focusing on operability, resilience and innovation, whilst defining the future direction of our reporting and data analysis tools. Your track record in enterprise architecture should speak for itself, and you will be a strong agent of change with deep knowledge of complex technology environments, including ETL and messaging platforms.
In this key position, you will actively develop and integrate our risk management systems, whilst providing expert technical support and advice on Moody’s Analytics solutions. This will require extensive experience of technical consultancy on risk management systems, preferably gained within a banking environment, supported by a high level of commercial acumen. Above all, you should bring comprehensive knowledge of Moody’s Analytics (including Risk Confidence ALM, Risk Authority, Risk Origin and Risk Confidence Impairment) and our Temenos T24 core banking system.
Balancing cross-directorate priorities and delivering core services within budget constraints, you will apply your commercial acumen and highly developed leadership and technical skills to the full. Naturally, you should join us with extensive experience of developing and supporting finance systems, alongside strong project management capabilities (ideally with PRINCE2 certification). Finally, you should be an expert user of Temenos Globus T24 and Enterprise Service Bus, particularly Software AG ESB.
For all positions, we require full fluency in one of our core languages of English or French, backed by a good command of the other language. In return, you can expect an excellent tax-free salary and a comprehensive package of benefits, including a contributory pension plan, medical and personal insurance, family allowances where appropriate, and potentially reimbursement of relocation expenses.
Applications should be made in English or French using the Council of Europe Development Bank online application system at https://ceb.profils.org before the deadline of 19 April 2020.
