Our Client Quantum Computing Group is exploring ways to build a full-scale quantum computer. To support this development effort, our client is looking for a highly motivated individual to organize, maintain and improve their QDEV experimental laboratory in Copenhagen. The ideal candidate is familiar in at least one of the areas of research lab equipment infrastructure & setup, mechanical/electrical engineering or cryogenics.
The scope includes managing lab improvements, maintenance & expansions, as well as working with the local work shop and equipment suppliers to guarantee equipment up time and access to all lab facilities.
The position is for a Sr. Lab Technician/Manager, who will help organize and maintain the labs infrastructure. It will be critical to support experimental work. The client is located on campus of Copenhagen University.
In addition to approx. 1,000sqm lab space, the responsibility will also include interaction with suppliers for scheduled maintenance, immediate repair and upgrade of work equipment (cryostats, measurement electronics, vacuum pumps, and cooling compressors).
The lab is among the largest Quantum labs in Europe and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to make a positive impact on a highly dynamic environment of scientist and engineers trying to push the boundaries of Quantum computing.

You will be employed by TEMP-TEAM Denmark but working full-time at our client’s location. This is an approx. 12 months position but will almost certainly be extended if you are interested.
