The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating the resources to deploy a Project within the agreed cost, time, and quality estimates with full adherence to Almirall's IT Project Management Methodology.
Function and responsibilities
From operational point of view:
Accountable for the successful execution (time, cost, quality) of the project from initial to final phase;
Adherence to IT’s Project Management methodology;
Ensuring that all Project stakeholders play their particular role diligently. Plan and organize the project, allocate internal and/or external resources to accomplish project tasks;
Coordinating activities and transitions between different projects, changes, suppliers and other organizational structures;
Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other policies relevant to the project scope (i.e: HW /SW standards, security);
Project status reporting as well as risk management;
Ensure IT Service providers meet the conditions agreed in contracts/offers.
From business point of view:
Understanding business requirements and ensuring the project delivers up to expectations;
Easily understanding of the processes, plans, objectives, drivers, and issues related to the business area.
Being updated of innovative technologies and solutions:
Communication: Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project;
Determining target audiences and communicate changes derived from projects and all relevant information;
Manage change to achieve the complicity and commitment of different actors;
Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact.
Planning and managing schedules, resources, project teams and conflicts;
Direct, manage and motivate the project team.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or closely related discipline;
Medium knowledge of SAP aspects;
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be a plus;
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills;
Capability to think strategically;
Senior customer relationship management skills;
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role;
Microsoft Project and other PM tools.
>=5 years of experience in:
IT project management: Manage projects having a high impact across the 6 change dimensions (process, organization, location, data, application, technology);
IT application development, and process design, and system validation practices; preferably;
Exposure to business area (Finance, Procurement, HR, legal, M&A, Affiliates).
Demonstrated experience in leading SAP implementations;
Preferably >= 3 years of experience in cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts;
Broad understanding of the Pharma industry will be a plus.
