Your main duties will be to

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• To collaborate with the Architect using JIRA for code repository management, deployments, and release code procedures

Qualifications

If you have:

• Proven working experience in iOS app development 5+ years
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Proficient with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc
• Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and JSON
• Strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Experience with Agile methodologies using JIRA too
• Good spoken and written knowledge of English (min. B2)
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Service and proactive Minded
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
• Able to quickly assimilate procedures
• Able to work well under pressure
• Comfortable in international and multicultural working environment
• Punctual, meticulous, autonomous and reliable
• Ability to troubleshoot in complex environments and quickly identify root cause

• Willingness to continually learn

• General knowledge of EU institutions
• Experience with European Commission is an asset
• Exploring additional frameworks for designing and developing iOS apps
• Knowledge of other EU languages is a plus, especially French
